[Rant] Recently I’ve come to realize that a lot of my friends are only my friend when im not disagreeing with them. I mean don’t get me wrong I pride myself on being an opinionated person but should that have to hurt my friendships with people? I honestly believe your friend is the one person who should be able to tell you about yourself and *snap* you back to reality if no one else. Would you want your real friend to lie to you about how they feel or tell you the truth even if it hurts?

ie. Someone I am cool with announced that they saw no problem with being on welfare and in fact they welcomed the “easy money”. Now me on the other hand, I was raised not to sit on your ass and take a hand out from anyone  unless you really need it. Now im not banishing Welfare im just saying if you NEED to get on welfare make sure you use it to your advantage and get off of it ASAP. People who want to be controlled and be considered inferior to the working population ” Get No Love From Me”. Now this person will probably dislike me because I choose to speak my mind rather than pat him on the back for his stupidity Am I not being a good friend? [/End Rant]

Tragedy!! Friday the hamster in my classroom (Ralphy) was found dead in his cage. I first noticed Ralphy’s lack of energy Thursday evening as I was cleaning up but I was in a rush so i just put food in his bowl and fled the scene. I came back Friday morning trying to figure out a subtle way to suggest the hamster had passed without looking like it was my fault, even though it wasn’t. After we softly shook the cage and he fell over on his side with no movement I was sick to my stomach. The poor baby died in his sleep ( i hope) with his little claws all curled up. So we had a funeral for it and said a few words then proceeded to send him to his final resting place in an empty box of vanilla wafers.

Enter phase II… I decided to hit Petsmart today and purchase a new hamster for the class He is an all black bear hamster named Deangelo. I got a little temp cage for him and all I hope they will make the transition well from Ralphy to Deangelo.  Wish Me Luck!!

About the newness: Ok so after a brief vacation, Feminessence is back. Sorry for the lack of comments and post neglect. Sometimes so much happens in my life at the end of the day I look at the bed and then I look over at the pc, and the bed almost always wins lol. If you can’t tell I changed the layout, this one is alot cuter and cleaner. I actually fixed the You tab (Finally!). I also added a music widget from Finetune. I really like this music player because you can pick up to 45 different songs from thousands of artists and copy the code and your done!. Also I fixed my siggy, that other one was dreadfully huge and ugly lol.

Moving right along, I got a new digi cam…

I Love this camera, and i can even take movies , now i can finally ut this crappy 1 megapixel cell phone camera to rest. I also went to circuit city and picked up a brand spanking new 500 gigabite external hard drive. I remembered to back up all my stuff just in case it crashes and burns like the horror i had last year with my simple tech drive. Anyways Im sleepy now, and working on this website has worn me out. Please comment with opinions of the new layout, I enjoy constructive criticism.
